The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 met and interacted with Christian Politicians at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) at Gomoa Fetteh near Kasoa in the Central Region.
Over four hundred people took part in the event. The participants included Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, District and Municipal Chief Executives, Assembly and Presiding Members, Government Appointees, Political Party Executives and Parliamentary Aspirants.
Speaking at the event, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah stated that Christians who feel the call to engage in active politics must be encouraged to do so and that no Christian is barred from entering into politics.
The Chairman has over the years held several meetings with Members of Parliament (MPs) in The Church of Pentecost. However, this is the first time the invitation was extended to all members of the Church actively involved in politics.
